CORENE SUTTON DAVIS, 57, died July, 16, 1997.
She attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1958
at Ranger, TX.
Corene was born in Monahans, TX, on Jan. 21, 1940,
as the second child of six, born to H.H. & Irma
Sutton. She received her RN degree from Hardin-
Simmons University. At the time of her death,
she worked as the clinic nurse at Sul Ross State
University in Alpine, TX. At that time, she & her
husband, Buck Davis, were residing in Balmorhea,
TX. She was a Christian and was active in church
work all of her life. She was truly an inspiration
to all who knew her. Her brothers were H. Tom Sutton
(RHS-1956), Terry Sutton (RHS-1966), & David Sutton
(RHS-1964). Sharon Sutton Rogers (RHS-1961) was her
sister.
