JACKIE "JACK" RAY NEELEY, 80, went to live with
his Lord, Jesus Christ on Jan. 9, 2020, with
interment at Moore Cemetery in Arlington, TX.
He was born Sept. 14, 1939 to Clarence R. & Zola
Jones Neeley in Ranger, TX. He lived in Ranger and
attended school there until he entered college at
Texas University in Austin, TX. At Ranger High
School in the Class of 1958, Jack participated in
the RHS Band and won many awards. He was a band
officer, class officer, on the student council,
and was elected Campus King his senior year.
Jack graduated from the University of Texas with
a degree in pharmacy. He was successful as a
retail pharmacist for nearly 37 years. He was
especially knowledgeable in drug and drug inter-
actions. Jack enjoyed consulting and suggesting
clients with symptoms that could be treated with
over-the-counter drugs. He worked the last 17
years with the Veterans Administration Mail-Out
Center.
Jack married Judy Matthews of Houston. They had
one daughter, Rebecca Michelle. In 1995, he
married Mary Kay Rush Faulkenberry (RHS-1960).
Jack is survived by his wife, Mary K.; his daughter
Becky and her husband Jonathan Bergsagel & their
children Annette, James, Carissa & Andrew; sister
Peggy Neeley Clinton (RHS-1964) of Houston and
their children William & Pearl Clinton of Lantana,
Sarah & husband Jos Wesselius of Austin, & Becca
Clinton of Arizona; brother Ted Neeley (RHS-1962)
& his wife Leeann and their children Zack & Tessa
of California. Also surviving are the children
of his wife; son Joel Faulkenberry and his wife
Iryna and their son Jason; and daughters Jana
Speers, Madison, and Meghan.
