ROBERT DRURE VEALE, 82, of Ranger, TX,
drew his last breath on Earth and went to be with
his Savior on June 5, 2023 in Sherman, TX, with
interment at Cedarlawn Memorial Park.
Robert was born in Ranger, TX to Carl Garland
Veale & Eva Ruth Veale on Oct. 8, 1940. He attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1958. Robert
married his wife of 54 years, Rita Jolene Eubank
in Nov. of 1968 in Ranger. He earned a degree
from Ranger Jr. College & then spent the majority
of his career as an Electronics Technician for
Texas Instruments. Robert was a veteran of the
U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam War and spent
almost two years of that service in Rota, Spain.
Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Carl
& Ruth Veale; his sister, Beverly Jean Veale Stine
(RHS-1956); & his baby brother, Carl Garland Veale,
Jr.
Robert is survived by his beloved wife, Rita Jolene
Veale, his sons Darren Robert Veale & wife Barbara,
and Ryan Thomas Veale and wife Heather. He is also
survived by eight grandchildren, Kim Mefford, Jessica
Escobar, Jacob Veale, Dylan Veale, Peyton Veale,
Carson Veale, Austin Veale, and Hunter Veale as
well as seven great-grandchildren, Ronnie Lopez,
Hunter Mefford, Johnny Mefford, Bella Escobar,
Conner Mefford, Angel Escobar Jr., and McKinley
Mefford.
