JOHNNY A. CHESTNUT, 73, left us to be with his Lord
and Savior, Jesus Christ, on May 23, 2013, surrounded
by those he loved, with burial at Ash Creek Cemetery
in Azle, TX.
Johnny was born in Gordon, TX on Aug. 17, 1939, to Roy
& Lena Bell Chestnut. He attended Ranger High School in
the Class of 1959 at Ranger, TX. In 2010, Johnny attended
his 50th Anniversary Class Reunion. He proudly served his
country with the U.S. Air Force from 1960 until 1969. He
will be missed by colleagues from his time at General
Dynamics, Jeffrey Industries, Thomas Conveyor, and Martin
Sprocket & Gear.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother,
Alvin Chestnut (RHS-1967).
Survivors: Loving wife of 49 years, Micki, who remained
by his side during his long struggle. They battled
together, strengthened by their faith & enduring love
for one another. He is also survived by his niece,
Roxanne Hill and husband, Curt, of Round Rock; along
with numerous nieces and nephews who treasured their
Uncle Johnny.
