CATHERINE GRISSOM McNABB, 43, of Ranger, TX,
a nurse at Ranger General Hospital, died in Jan. of
1984 at G.C. Morton Hospital in Dallas after a lengthy
illness. Burial was at Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger,
TX.
Born Laura Catherine Grissom, Dec. 10, 1940, in Santo,
she attended Ranger schools including Ranger High School
in the Class of 1960. She married B.C. McNabb in Aug.
of 1975 in Eastland. She had worked for 17 years as
a surgical nurse at Ranger General Hospital and was a
member of Necessity Baptist Church.
Survivors at the time of her death include her husband;
her parents, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. Grissom of Ranger; a
daughter, Janice Evans Day (RHS-1978) of Eastland; two
sons, Rickey Evans (RHS-1979) of Eastland & Brent Evans
of the home; a step-son, Clark McNabb of Breckenridge;
two brothers, Joel Grissom (RHS-1962) and Jackie Grissom
(RHS-1963), both of Breckenridge; a sister, Donna Grissom
Wood (RHS-1977) of Abilene; and two grandchildren, Shannon
Day and Brandi Ordonez, both of Eastland.
