CALDWELL "BUDDY" GREEN PRATHER, JR., 57, died on
March 16, 1997 in Waco, TX, with burial in Mexia
City Cemetery.
He was born August 8, 1939 in Mexia, TX, to Caldwell
Green Prather (1903–1975) & Opal L. Bradshaw Prather
(1911–1989). His brother, Billy Green Prather, died
in 1936 at the age of six. He had a sister who is
still living. Buddy graduated from Ranger High
School in the Class of 1960, arriving late in his
Senior year. He joined the U.S. Army a short time
after high school graduation and was released in
1976.
