JACKIE LEA DANIELS, 77, of Eastland, TX went
home to be with the Lord on May 18, 2019, with
burial at Brad Cemetery in Palo Pinto County.
Jackie was born June 30, 1941 in Eastland to Jack
Odell & Byrl Greer Daniels. He attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1960 at Ranger, TX
before starting work at the age of 16 and never
stopped. Jackie served his country in the U.S.
National Guard and Army Reserves. In Feb. of
1961 he married Miss Charlotte Clepper in Ft.
Worth and spent the next 58 years by her side.
Jackie worked in Law Enforcement serving as
Eastland County Constable for 16 years. He was
an active member of the Covenant Life Church in
Ranger.
Jackie was a good man, husband and father who
loved being able to help anyone who needed help.
He enjoyed fishing in his spare time and was
making cane fishing poles for the grandkids at
the time of his death. He enjoyed gambling/
playing the machines but is greatest love was
for his family and loved his grandkids more
than he loved himself.
He is survived by his loving wife of 58 years,
Charlotte Daniels, children: Tammy Jackson and
husband Johnnie, Kimberly Daniels and friend
Trancito Hernandez, and Breck Daniels, grand-
children: Craig Jackson, Jeremy Jackson, Somer
Lea, Danyhl Lain, Lindy Matthews, Chris Daniels,
Dakotah Daniels, Stormey Daniels, Jesse Daniels,
and Preston Daniels, 14 great-grandchildren and
3 great-great-grandchildren, brothers: Michael
Daniels and wife Karen, & Brett Daniels, sisters:
Ann Eaton, Pam Tindle and husband James & Brenda
Wood and a host of nieces, nephews and longtime
friends.
Jackie is preceded in death by his parents and
his precious son Troy Daniels; brother, Eldon
J. Daniels (Jayboy); brother-in law, Albert
Eaton (Frenchy); great-grandchild, Alec Jackson;
and two nephews, Josh Daniels & Zachary Daniels.
