RICHARD ROBIE, 56, died Sept. 28, 1999, at Valley
Baptist Medical Center, with interment in Fort
Sam Houston Cemetery at San Antonio, TX. He was
in the Ranger High School Class of 1961 at Ranger,
TX.
He was born on Jan. 15, 1943 in Graham, TX. He
had lived in Arroyo City, TX, since 1985 where he
had enjoyed fishing and working with his computer.
He attended Texas A&M and graduated from Tarleton
State University in 1965 & received his commission
in the R.O.T.C. where he was Cadet Colonel of the
Corp. He served two tours of duty in Vietnam and
was honorably discharged in 1975 with the rank of
Major receiving numerous medals. He was employed
by Southwestern Bell in 1978 as an engineer.
