PHYLLIS EILEEN MYERS TURLINGTON, 72, was born
Jan. 17, 1945 in Ranger, TX. She passed peacefully
from her battle with lung cancer on Feb. 12, 2017.
She reunites with her husband, Reuben, & daughter,
Angela.
She spent her childhood growing up in Ranger, TX
along with her two sisters, Teresa & Kathy. Phyllis
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1962.
She spent 43 years with her husband, Reuben, until
he passed of lung cancer in 2007. She gave birth to
one daughter, Angela, who also passed of lung cancer
in 2015. She spent many years working for Texas
Instruments until her retirement.
She is survived by her sisters, Teresa Myers Rogers
(RHS-1965) and Kathy Myers Steward (RHS-1970); her
granddaughters Ashley and Amanda; her great-grand-
daughter Mary-Lee; and brother and sister-in-law
H.G and Yvonne; her many nieces and nephews; and
her many friends. Her brother was Mike Myers (RHS-
1973).
MOTHER: LEOTA DOSCHIA DAVIS MYERS, 75, of Ranger,
TX, a homemaker, died on Dec. 18, 1991, with burial
at the Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger.
Mrs. Myers was born in Ireland, in Coryell County
to James & Pearl (Venable) Davis. She was a Baptist.
Survivors: Three daughters, Phyllis Myers Turlington
of Richardson, Teresa Myers Rogers of Ranger & Kathy
Myers Stuard of Long Island, NY; son, Mike Myers of
Ranger; three sisters, Oleta McCumber, Gladys Crabb
& Johnny Belle Robinson, all of Dallas; eight grand-
children; and three great-grandchildren.
