HELEN ABLES MURRAY, 73, passed away on Oct. 13,
2017, in Boerne, TX, with burial in Ranger, TX.
She was born to O.B. & Velma Ables in Ranger on
July 7, 1944. Helen attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1962. Her married name was
Murray. She worked campus security at Boerne
High School for 21 years. Her tough but fair
attitude not only earned her the nickname "Rambo",
but also the love and respect of all who knew
her.
Helen is survived by her brother, William Ables
(RHS-1962); her daughter, Jenny Murray; her grand-
children and great-grandchildren; and too many
friends to list.
