ANNA MARIE SQUIERS MATTHIAS, 65, passed
way quietly the morning of Dec. 16, 2012.
Anna was born May 2, 1947 in Ranger, TX to Mildred
Marie Squiers and Edward Squiers, Jr. She attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1965. She married
Hugh Matthias. Anna served as a Mortgage Banker
before becoming a full time Mother and Wife. She
was a 19 year survivor of Breast Cancer only to
succumb to Congestive Heart Failure.
Preceding Anna in death was her brother, Charles
Edward and father Edward Squiers.
Anna is survived by her husband Hugh Matthias of
Hurst, TX; son and daughter-in-law, Hugh “Chip” and
Rachel Matthias of Irving, TX; mother Mildred Squiers
& brother, Dwight Squiers (RHS-1962) both of Eastland,
TX; niece, Lisa Ann Hutcheson & husband Jed of Eastland;
Kim McCaslin and husband Reverend Steve of Weatherford;
nephew Thomas Squiers & partner Jason Tardiff of North
Richland Hills, TX; great-niece Skyler Hutcheson and
great-nephew Cody Hutcheson of Eastland & Tyler McCaslin
of Weatherford; great-great-niece Rayleigh Hutcheson of
Eastland; extended family members and friends.
