NIETA FAYE ROSE MELTON, 72, went home to be
with the Lord on Feb. 21, 2019, with burial at the
Evergreen Cemetery in Ranger, TX.
Nieta Faye Rose Melton was born Dec. 31, 1946 in
Ranger, TX to Owen Ed (RHS-1940) & Beatrice West Rose.
She grew up in Ranger and attended Ranger schools
in the Class of 1966. Nieta enjoyed staying busy
and was blessed to be able to work several different
jobs during her life. Her most memorable jobs, being
a wonderful Mom to her kids and earning her CNA later
in life which led her to work for the Rock House,
Eastland and Ranger Nursing Homes. She was a Baptist
and loved the Lord.
She is survived by her 3 daughters; Kellie Melton
Wilson (RHS-1994) & Karina Melton (RHS-1996) both of
Watauga, TX and Kimber Lee Melton (RHS-1988) of CA,
grandchildren; Krystal Archer, Jessika Richard and
Gabriel Wilson & 2 great-grandchildren, a brother;
Johnny Rose (RHS-1967) of Granbury & sisters Carolyn
Rose Braddock (RHS-1963) & husband Clyde and Shirley
Rose Cole (RHS-1969) & husband Jimmy both of Ranger
and numerous nieces & nephews. She is also survived
by her amazing and loving, longtime boyfriend Jimmy
Blackwell of Ranger.
