ROBERT "BOB" WILLIAM DASKEVICH, 71 passed from
this life to the next on Nov. 29, 2020, with
interment in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Robert William Daskevich was born on April 29,
1949 in Ranger to Joseph William & Gay Nell Gideon
(RHS-1940) Daskevich Jr. He attended Ranger High
School in the Class of 1967. He married Sherry
Ann McCrum in April of 1973. Mr. Daskevich proudly
served his country in the U.S. Air Force, and was
a faithful member of St. Rita Catholic Church. He
enjoyed hunting, fishing, and cars, especially his
vintage Corvette and Mustang. But his biggest pride
and joy were his granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his parents. Survivors
include his wife of 47 years, Sherry Daskevich; son,
R.W. Daskevich and wife, Amber; daughters, Staci
Reyes and Robbi Gideon and husband, Scott; sister,
Gay Ann Daskevich Wolford (RHS-1959) and husband,
Charlie (RHS-1959); brothers, Ron Daskevich (RHS-
1961) and wife, Marsha and Phillip Daskevich and
wife, Cris; granddaughters, Elizabeth and Emma
Daskevich and Erin and Rylan Gideon; brother by
heart, Daniel Dunson and wife, Debbie; & numerous
nieces and nephews.
