LARRY DON BLACKWELL, 72, of Bedford, TX,
passed from this life on Feb. 28, 2022, with
burial in Alameda cemetery in Eastland County.
Larry was born on May 4, 1949 in Gorman, TX to
J.B.& Juanita McGaha Blackwell. He attended
Ranger High School in the Class of 1967 at
Ranger, TX. He married Janice Black (RHS-1967)
in July of 1966 in Breckenridge, TX. Larry
worked in logistics for Minyard Groceries and
was a member of the Church of Christ.
Larry was preceded in death by his parents; a
brother: Fred Blackwell (RHS-1969); & a sister
Gay Nell Blackwell Burnett (RHS-1963).
He is survived by his wife: Janice Blackwell of
Bedford; son: Jeffrey Byron Blackwell and wife
Katie of Austin; daughters: Anita Gail Blackwell
of North Richland Hills & Amy Michelle Cameron
and husband Jeff of Denton; and grandchildren:
Josie and Lilly Blackwell and Noah, Samuel, and
Ben Cameron.
