JOHNNY FRANK CANTWELL, 69, passed away at
his home on Aug. 13, 2020. He was a beloved
father, brother, uncle, peepaw, and friend,
with burial in Bullock Cemetery near Ranger,
TX.
Johnny was born in Ranger to Willie Odell
Cantwell & Delma Bargley. He graduated from
Ranger High School in 1969, where he played
football and participated in FFA.
Johnny married Judy Mathews and together they
raised their two sons: Clinton & Clayton, in
Ranger, TX. They later divorced.
Johnny spent his life as a heavy equipment
operator, farming peanuts, and loved spending
time with the family vacationing in Colorado.
Johnny is survived by his two sons: Clinton
Cantwell (RHS-1991) and wife Jennifer, and
Clayton Cantwell (RHS-1995); two grandsons:
Ross Cantwell and Ty Cantwell; his brother
Willie Cantwell (RHS-1966) and wife Wilma;
his sister Nancy Cantwell (RHS-1960) and
husband Horst Krause; and numerous nieces
and nephews. Johnny is proceeded in death
by his parents & his sister Jenny Cantwell
Patton (RHS-1959).
