Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1970

Latricia Wheat Lucas LATRICIA LYNN WHEAT LUCAS, 59, of Cisco, TX passed away April 30, 2011, in Eastland, TX. Latricia was born April 12, 1952, in Ranger, TX to Byron Barnett Wheat, Sr. and Myrtle Evelyn Blackwell (RHS-1949) Wheat. She was a graduate of Ranger High School where she was a twirler. She continued her education at Cisco Junior College where she was a Wrangler Bell in the first group to perform in the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. She was hired by CJC as secretary where she worked for many years. She was a member of the I-20 Church of Christ in Cisco. Latricia and Larry John Lucas were married in Nov. of 2004, in Eastland. She loved to spend time reading, sewing and spending time with her family. Survivors include her husband, Larry Lucas, of Cisco; two daughters, Christi Chapman & husband, Mike, of Snyder, Felicia Millican and husband, Keith, of Cisco; stepson, Shawn Lucas and wife, Keri, of Cisco; mother, Evelyn Wheat, of Cisco; two sisters, DeVonna Gayle (RHS-1974) and husband, Howard, of Eastland; Cheryl Robinson (RHS-1976) and husband, David, of Cisco; brother, Byron Barrett "Bo" Wheat, Jr. of Cisco and grandchildren, Trace & Morgan Chapman, Corbin Tucker and Mystic McClintock.
