DEBRA BEARDEN VINSON CARMACK, 41, of
Olden, TX died on Feb. 1, 1997, with interment
at Colony Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Mrs. Carmack was born in Ranger on March 14, 1955,
where she graduated from high school. She worked
as a beautician and truck driver. She was a charter
member of Ranger Riding Club and was a member of
Eastside Baptist Church. She had one son, Cory Lee
Vinson of Ranger. Her parents were Jack and Peggy
Bearden of Ranger. She had one sister, Tracy Johnston
(RHS-1986) of Ranger; two brothers, Larry Bearden
(RHS-1976) of Wingate and Mark Bearden (RHS-1988)
of Ranger. Her maternal grandmother was Irene Thomas
of Ranger.
FATHER: JACK C. BEARDEN, 71, died at Ranger,
TX on June 4, 2003, 8 months after his wife had died.
He was buried in Colony Cemetery with his wife, Peggy.
He was born on August 6 in Eastland County to Emma
Cunningham and Claude C. Bearden. He served his
country in the U.S. Army and was an employee of the
Featherlite Corporation for 35 years. He had a
brother, W.H. Bearden of Aledo, three sisters,
Frankie Parr of Baird, Bonnie Taylor of Sherman and
Clairdell Gremillion of Louisiana.
Their survivors include a daughter, Tracy Bearden
Johnston, Class of 1986, of Ranger; sons, Larry
(RHS-1976), and wife, Page, of Wingate, and Mark
(RHS-1988), and wife, Edie, of Ranger; and five
grandchildren.
MOTHER: PEGGY ROSE THOMAS BEARDEN, 68,
passed away Sept. 28, 2002. She married Jack Bearden in
March of 1952, in Aledo, & they lived in Ranger since 1954.
Peggy worked at Ranger General Hospital for 30 years as
a ward clerk and hospital aide. She was a member of Eastside
Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by a daughter,
Debbie Vinson (RHS-1973) in 1997 and a brother, Carroll
Thomas and was survived by her mother, Irene Thomas, of
Ranger.
