JAMES RANDALL "RANDY" JACOBY, 65, of Justin, TX
passed away Jan. 12, 2020.
He was born on Oct. 25, 1954 and attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1973 at Ranger, TX.
Randy led a full life serving many communities
with 36 years in the law enforcement. He was a
police officer at Ranger Police Department where
he started his career, a Sergeant at Rockport
Texas Police Department, a Sergeant at Aransas
Pass Police Department, and a police officer at
the Fort Worth Police Department where he served
honorably for 28 years on the northside area.
Randy was a huge hit at the stockyards, and
couldn't go anywhere without running into someone
he knew. He then retired honorably from Fort
Worth PD in March of 2011 to welcome his oldest
grandson Ryan.
Randy enjoyed traveling, his favorite was Yellow-
Stone Park where he took all of his children and
some of his grandchildren. He enjoyed taking
amazing pictures of all the nature and monuments
he traveled to. You could often find Randy in
the car chasing pokemon with all his beloved
dogs. Randy found enjoyment from making others
laugh, and baseball.
Randy is followed in Heaven by his parents Dorothy
Hyatt (RHS-1946) and Jake Jacoby, and his mother-
in-law, Anne Lester.
Randy is survived by his loving wife Rene Jacoby,
his sister Marsha Jacoby (RHS-1982), his three
daughters Cori Jacoby, Ashley McCasland, Samantha
McCasland, his son Jason McCasland, Ryan Reynolds
& his many other grandchildren/great-grandchildren.
