PEGGY ANN THOMPSON CUNNINGHAM, 55, passed
away on Dec. 18, 2008, with burial at the
Eastland City Cemetery in Eastland, TX.
Peggy was born Nov. 18, 1953 in Eastland
to Billy & Wanda Tankersley Thompson. She
attended schools in Ranger & Midland, TX
including Ranger High School in the Class of
1974. Peggy enjoyed cosmetology classes during
high school. She married Randy Cunningham and
he precedes her in death. Peggy was at one
time a CNA and a cook at the local hospital.
She and her daughter, Julie, moved to New
Mexico for 2 years and returned in 1999. She
loved spending time with her family and
especially her granddaughter who called her
Mimi. She was a member of the Church of Christ
and participated in the Prayer Sisters and
Senior Saints. She loved playing games with
her friends & enjoyed doing crafting projects.
At the time of her death, she was survived by
her daughter, Julie Gillentine; brother, Ricky
Thompson (RHS-1971) and wife Jean; sisters, Eva
Thompson Dyer (RHS-1969) & husband Darrell, Nancy
Thompson Landon (RHS-1976) & husband Darrell,
and Kay Thompson Montgomery (RHS-1983) & husband,
Mike; granddaughter, Kilah Green; and numerous
nieces and nephews.
