BRENDA RAE WELLS HENDRIX, 59, died Jan. 14,
2017 in Sweetwater, TX, with burial at the Texas
State Veterans Cemetery.
Brenda was born to Derwood & Linda Wells on Aug. 15,
1957 in Odessa, TX. She attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1976 at Ranger, TX. Brenda was a
woman of many talents. She served in the U.S. Army.
She loved God, her family and the Dallas Cowboys.
Brenda always gave more than she got and anyone that
knew her loved her. She married Billy Joe Hendrix in
May of 2012 at Ranger, TX. Brenda was a member of
Cornerstone Church of Sweetwater, TX.
She was preceded in death by her parents & brother,
Toy Wells (RHS-1979).
Survivors are her husband, Billy Joe Hendrix of
Sweetwater; son, Brian Wells; stepsons, Kody Hendrix
& Jason Hendrix; 9 grandchildren; 3 great-grandchildren;
brothers, Doyle Wells (RHS-1975), Mike Wells, and Alan
Wells; sister, Terri Jennings; brothers-in-law, Gene
Hendrix (RHS-1976) & Sammy Hendrix.
