worked construction, laid fiber optic lines, worked in
chemical waste disposal, and any other job that would
provide for his family. He has done just about every
job related to the petroleum business but his main
specialty was well completion. At the time of his
death he owned a consulting business & was contracted
by Patterson UTI Drilling Company.

Steve did not have a "bucket list" of things he wanted
to do when he found out he was dying. He said, "I had
a 'Huckleberry Finn' childhood, I lived, worked, and
had adventures all over the country, & there is nothing
I need to do or see. All I want is to enjoy my friends
and family." That he did.
