1979 & married David Elliott in June of 1978.
A son was born to this union. Lynette and
Johnny W. Stowe were married in May of 1986.
They were parents of two daughters.
Lynette passed March 6, 2003 in Abilene, TX with
burial in Memorial Gardens of the Valley at
Weatherford, TX. Lynette was preceded in death
by her father and brother, Corky Johnston.
She is survived by her husband, Johnny W. Stowe,
a son, two daughters, three sisters: Joann Johnston
Kinder (RHS-1959), Gladys Walker, Mary Alice
Johnston Choate (RHS-1967), four brothers: Billy
Ray Johnston (RHS-1954, Jerry Johnston (RHS-1965),
Jimmy Johnston, and Roger Johnston.
