SANTOS HERNANDEZ, 58, of Ranger, TX passed
away on Sept. 21, 2019 in Ranger, with burial
there in Evergreen Cemetery.
Santos was born Feb. 26, 1961 in Ranger to Manuel
Berru Hernandez & Simona Tonche Hernandez. He
graduated from Ranger High School in 1979. He
worked in construction, but was really a jack
of all trades and was a member of St. Rita's
Catholic Church. He was loved and had a ton of
close friends. He had a way of making people feel
like they were his very best friend. He never
hesitated to offer his help or give someone down
on their luck a helping hand. He was known as the
life of the party and always had a smile and a
laugh that would lighten the mood and brighten
the room.
Santos lived life on his terms. He never cared
what people thought that he should do or how he
should live and didn't mind telling you that.
Santos pride and joy was his son Diego and his
grandson Zayden.
Survivors include a son, Diego Hernandez; brothers,
Manuel Hernandez, Jr. (RHS-1977) and wife Kristi,
Ernest Hernandez, and Many Hernandez; 2 sisters,
Bertha Hernandez Figley (RHS-1966) and husband
Jack, and Mary Hernandez; 1 grandchild, Zayden
Hernandez; many nieces and nephews; and special
friend, Marlene Kincaid.
SISTER: MARY LOUISE HERNANDEZ, 69, of
Ranger, TX passed away Dec. 30, 2020 in Palestine,
TX, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Mary was born on March 17, 1951 in Ranger to Manuel
Berru Hernandez, Sr. & Simona Biaza Tonche Hernandez.
She grew up in Ranger and was a member of the Catholic
Church.
She was preceded in death by her parents; & a brother,
Santos Hernandez (RHS-1979).
Survivors include 2 brothers, Manuel Hernandez, Jr.
(RHS-1977) and wife Kristi, and Ernest Hernandez; &
by a sister, Bertha Hernandez Finley (RHS-1966).
