GILBERT LEE RODGERS, 60 of Ranger, TX
passed away Jan. 20, 2023.
Gilbert was born on Feb. 2, 1962 in Ranger, TX
to Claude (RHS-1943) & Lela Rodgers. He graduated
from Ranger High School in 1980. He was baptized
at the Second Baptist Church of Ranger in 1970.
In 1993, he met the love of his life Sharmon, they
were married in April of 1995. He worked for
Sterling Monument in Eastland for 25 years.
He is preceded in death by his parents, sisters,
Delores Rodgers and Linda Rodgers Weeaks.
He is survived by his wife of 28 years, Sharmon
of Ranger, TX; two sons, Justin Vance (RHS-1997)
of Ranger, TX and Levi Vance (RHS-2001) and wife
Jamie of San Angelo; brother and sister-in-law
Roy Don (RHS-1977) and Wendy Rodgers; sister,
Nelda Rodgers (RHS-1978) - all from Ranger, TX;
and numerous niece and nephews.
