RUSSELL RAY "RUSTY" NEVILLE, 47, of Ranger, TX passed
away on Aug. 24, 2010 in Ranger. He attended Ranger
High School in the Class of 1981.
Rusty was born on Dec. 19, 1962 in Snyder, TX to Donald R.
Neville and Angel P. Thomas. His father and the family
operated a machine shop on Hwy 80 across from Mark Wheat
for the past 35 years. Rusty married Thilena Diann "Toby"
Sanders in May of 1992 in Ranger. He was a machinist and
enjoyed riding Harleys with his wife and friends. He loved
fishing, hunting, wood-working and working with his hands.
He was preceded in death by a son, Michael "Mikey" Neville
(RHS-2003) in 2008.
Survivors include his wife, Toby Neville of Ranger; a son,
Nick Neville and his wife Miranda of Ranger; a daughter,
Jessica Evett of Ranger; grandchildren, Alli Neville and
Cade Neville both of Ranger; parents, Don & Pauline Neville
of Ranger; sisters, Donna Neville (RHS-1974) of Ranger,
Paula Dunn (RHS-1974) & her husband Daylon of Proctor and
Jennifer Maddle (RHS-1986) and her husband James of Ranger;
a nephew, Tom Dunn of Proctor; and a niece, Katy Dunn of
Proctor.
MOTHER: PAULINE THOMAS NEVILLE, 81, went home to be with
her Lord on Dec. 27, 2017 in Ranger, TX.
Pauline was born June 19, 1936, in Megargel, TX to Chester
& Virginia Rhea Thomas. She married Don Neville in Feb. of
1955, in Lovington, NM and moved to Ranger in 1967 where
she spent the remainder of her life. She was a homemaker
who loved raising her kids & 2 of her grandson. She loved
the outdoors, camping and fishing and was an amazing deal
finder at garage sales. Pauline was a Baptist.
Pauline is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, Don
Neville, daughters; Donna Neville, Paula Dunn and husband
Daylon, Jennifer Maddle and husband James, daughter-in-law,
Thilena Neville, brother, Jim Thomas and wife Marie, sisters;
Margaret Bradley and Polly Ann Neville. She is also survived
by grandchildren; Nicholas Neville and wife Miranda, Thomas
Dunn, Katy Dunn and Jessica Baker and great-grandchildren;
Allison, Cade, and Kathryn.
She was preceded in death by her son Rusty Neville, grandsons;
Mikey Neville and Stevie Dunn and a brother, Charles Thomas.
FATHER: DON R. NEVILLE, 86, passed from this life to the next
on Feb. 27, 2021.
Don was born on Sept. 17, 1934 in Brownwood, TX to Russell T.
& Iva Mae Perkins Neville. He married Pauline Thomas in Feb.
of 1955 in Lovington, NM, and she preceded him in death in
2017. Don proudly served his country in the US Navy. He was
the head chef at Café 66 in Snyder prior to moving to Ranger
in 1967 where he became a machinist and established the long
running family-owned Neville Machine Shop, which he operated
until his retirement. Don loved the outdoors, tending to his
cattle and fruits trees, and also hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Donna Neville, Paula Dunn,
and Jennifer Maddle; grandchildren, Nick Neville, Thomas Dunn,
Katy Dunn, and Jessica Baker; and great-grandchildren, Alli
and Cade Neville, JJ Dunn, and Katherine Baker.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife of 63 years;
son, Rusty Neville; brother, Bob Neville; sisters, Nancy
Tumlinson and Patsy Steigle; and grandchildren, Mikey Neville
and Stevie Dunn.
