ANNA McEVER, 84, of Ranger, TX, a former business
teacher, died in 1985, with interment at Mt. Marion
Cemetery in Strawn, TX.
She was born Aug. 14, 1901, in Lakota and a member of
the First Baptist Church. She was a graduate of Ranger
Jr. College, North Texas State University and Hardin-
Simmons University. A business teacher at Ranger High
School for 13 years, she had taught business at Ranger
Jr. College for 7 years. She was member of the Order
of the Eastern Star, the Royal Neighbors of America,
Delta Kappa Gamma and the 1920 Club. Her sister was
Rose McEver Deffebach (RHS-1922 & Faculty).
