PEGGY LUCE SNEAD, 81 of Albany, TX passed away
June 16, 2018, with burial in the Merriman Cemetery.
Peggy Ann Luce was born July 3, 1936 in Bloomberg,
TX to Horace Lee Luce & Hattie Irene Horney Luce.
Peggy graduated high school in Midland and then
married Lee Snead in Aug. of 1954 in Spraberry,
TX. She had worked as a dental assistant as well
as an assistant to the principal at Ranger High
School in Ranger, TX. Her family was very important
to her, especially her grandchildren. When she
asked about her grandchildren, she made sure she
got all the details.
Peggy was preceded in death by her parents, Horace
& Hattie Luce; her husband, Lee Snead; her in-laws
and many aunts and uncles.
She is survived by her three children, Sam Snead
(RHS-1974) and Michele Becker of Albany, Mike Snead
(RHS-1980) and wife Lisa of Rotan, Kim Snead Bryan
(RHS-1977) and husband Kyle of Albany; ten grand-
children, Lance Snead, Travis Snead, Shelby Snead,
Justin Anderson, Brittany Johnson, Cutter Bryan,
Jeracho Bryan, Cullen Bryan, Tiffany Kelly, Adam
Coffman; nine great-grandchildren, Bentley Bryan,
Dax Bryan, Grayson Bryan, Cash Johnson, Peyton
Kelly, Wyatt Snead, Chloe Anderson, Paisley
Anderson, and Graham Anderson.
