Ranger Exes Memorial - RJC-Faculty

Larry Parker LAWRENCE "LARRY, ACE" MAXWELL PARKER, JR., 86, of Denison, passed away on Aug. 6, 2010 at Texas Health Presbyterian-WNJ in Sherma, TX. Ace was born was born on April 18, 1924 in Bremerton, Washington to Lawrence Maxwell Parker Sr. and Isabell Kennedy Parker. He married Bertha Mae Franzetti Parker in June of 1946. They were very happily married for 64 years. Ace graduated from the University of Texas in 1953 and started a career in coaching and teaching that lasted 40 years. He was a football and track coach at Ranger Junior College during the 60s. He touched many lives during that period. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Mae of Denison; one son John (RHS-1967) and his wife Rebecca of Denison; two daughters, Vicki Fulfer (RHS-1968) of Austin and Terri Bolin and her husband Dale of Austin; one brother, Gene of Austin; one sister, Virginia of Boerne; six grandchildren, Chad and Rachel Taylor, Courtney Barker, Chance Fulfer, Erin Bolin, Stengel Parker and Dustin Bolin; four great-grandchildren, Pierce Barker, Parker Taylor, Keegan Bolin, and Hudson Taylor.
