JOHNSON A. "JOHNNY" BATES was born Oct. 4,
1900 and died Feb. 9, 1994 while living at Breckenridge.
He was employed by Lone Star Gas and was a member of
the Ranger ISD School Board from 1949-1959. He and
his wife, Juanita, were the parents of La Gene "Jean"
Bates Gallagher (RHS-1950) of Ingram, TX.
