Jerry Whitt JERRY MACK WHITT, 69, of Bevil Oaks died on March 12, 2002 at Christus St. Elizabeth Hospital in Beaumont. Interment was at Magnolia Cemetery, Beaumont, TX. Jerry graduated from Graham High School in 1950 and attended Ranger Jr. College the school years of 1950-1951. Jerry was an employee of Mobil Chemical for thirty-seven years. He was an avid golfer, making 3 holes-in-one at Bayou Din, a champion fisherman, and a daily walker. His walk around the neighborhood, carrying his golf club, was a familiar sight. He was a devoted family man who wanted to take care of all. At the time of his death, he was survived by his wife of 50 years, Billye (RHS-1950); three daughters and sons-in-law, Beverly and Pete Kohler of Lumberton, Jerrie and Tommy Witterstaeter of Mauriceville, and Betty and Bruce Poland of Suisun, CA; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; his sister and brother-in-law, Pat and Bill Atwood of Graham, TX; and a brother, Jack Whitt of Albuquerque, NM.
