MARY KATHERINE LATT STIE, 81, of Ranger, TX
died on April 15, 2000 at Abilene, TX, with burial
at Evergreen Cemetery near Ranger.
Mrs. Stie was born in Dewey, OK, on March 25, 1919 to
Oliver & Allie Ada (Needham) Latt. She married
Joseph Stie in Dec. of 1935 in Dewey, OK, and he
preceded her in death on Nov. 30, 1969. She went
to work as a food service supervisor at the Ranger
General Hospital until she retired in 1988. She was
member of the Ranger Garden Club and of the First
Baptist Church.
Survivors at the time of her death are her daughter
and son-in-law, Mary Jo & Herbert Williams of Ranger;
a granddaughter and husband, Susan and Adam Shepherd
of Fairfax, VA; a sister, Ruth Reynolds of Copan, OK,
one niece Sally and one nephew, Jim Reynolds.
Her daughter is, Mary Jo Stie (RHS-1954) & her husband,
Herbert Williams (RHS-1953). The granddaughter, Susan
Williams, is a RHS graduate of 1982.
