Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1925

Lillie King LILLIE OLENE KING HITTSON was born May 18, 1908, and was the daughter of R.O. & Lillie King, pioneers in Ranger, TX. She died at her home in 1989 in Breckenridge, TX; she was 81 years old. Mrs. Hittson was born in Santa Anna, TX and grew up in Ranger. She attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1925. She moved to Breckenridge in 1934 after marrying Byrel Hittson who participated in rodeos & was a rancher. She worked as a clerk in grocery stores and jewelry stores and later was a homemaker. She was a member of Breckenridge First Baptist Church. At the time of her death Olene was survived by her husband, Byrel Hittson of Breckenridge; a son, Bill King of San Antonio, who died in 2001); a daughter- in-law, Geneva King of San Antonio; a step-daughter, Jacque Byrel Chavez of Oklahoma; five brothers, F.R. "Johny" King and Brownie King (RHS-1922) of Ranger, R.O. King of Houston, Robert "Bob" King of Greenville, SC, and Herbert King of Dallas; two grandsons, three step-grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
