HOMER HOWARD SHIPP, 66, died on May 16, 1974
in Gladewater, TX, with burial there in the West
Mountain Cemetery. He was born March 28, 1908
in Knox City, TX to Eugnatus C. & Flora Phillips
Shipp. Homer attended Ranger High School in the
Class of 1926 at Ranger, TX and married Helen
Gunckel (RHS-1926) who died in 1958. Their son
was Billy H. Shipp who died in 2010. Homer later
married Exa Vernon who died in 1998. His siblings
were Herbert Shipp, Edgar Shipp, Owen Shipp, Clara
Shipp, Phillip Shipp (RHS-1927), & Mattye Harrison.
