HELEN IRENE GUNCKEL SHIPP, 48, died on March 10,
1958 in Gladewater, TX, with burial there at West
Mountain Cemetery. She was born on June 27, 1909
in Muncy, IN to William C. & Rose Farr Gunckel.
Helen attended Ranger High School in the Class
of 1926 at Ranger, TX and became a teacher. She
married Homer H. Shipp (RHS-1926) who died in 1974.
Their son was Billy Shipp who died in 2010. Her
sister was Kathleen Gunckel (RHS-1931).
