GEORGE ALTON DUNAWAY, 92, was born on
Oct. 26, 1907 & died Dec. 22, 1999, at Cushing,
OK. He graduated from Ranger High School in 1926
at Ranger, TX along with his brother, James Howard
Dunaway (RHS-1926). His sisters were, Katherine
Dunaway Blackman (RHS-1928) & Lillian (RHS-1930)
also attended high school in Ranger. He was the
son of George Washington Dunaway, a prominent
lawyer, and Elizabeth Butts.
