WILLIAM HENDERSON "BILL" BROWN, 85,
was born on March 1, 1910 to Calvin & Minnie Lee
Brown. He was in the graduating Class of 1928 at
Ranger High School in Ranger, TX. He died on
Jan. 26, 1996 in San Jose, CA, and was buried in
Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, next to his father
and mother.
He had two brothers, Raymond Edward Brown & Calvin
Earl Brown (RHS-1936); and two sisters, Faye Irene
Plumley (RHS-1931) and Mae Jo Ambrose (RHS-1934).
Bill served in the U.S.Army during WWII and Korea.
After retiring from the Army after 20+ years, he
worked as a Security Guard from 1966 until 1975.
He was first married to Marjorie Brown & they had
two daughters, one named Brenda Lea. He was later
married to Toyoko Takikawa at Sapporo, Japan in
July of 1954. Toyoko is still living in 2008. A
daughter, Linda Brown, lives in San Jose.
His father, Calvin Brown, died in May of 1968 in
Ranger. Minnie Lee Walsh Brown died in August of
1962.
