CLARA ADAMS MARTIN, 89, died Dec. 9, 2001 in
Arlington, TX, with burial in Bullock Cemetery
near Ranger, TX.
Clara was born on July 7, 1912 in Stephens County,
TX, to Thomas Jefferson & Addie C. McDougal Adams.
She graduated from Ranger High School in 1930,
then married Henry S. Martin in Ranger in 1949.
They moved to the Fort Worth area in 1958, where
they lived until her husband passed away in 1999.
Since that time, Clara had resided in Arlington
to be near family members.
Clara was a lifelong and active member of First
Christian Church of Ranger, having taught Sunday
school there for many years. In Fort Worth, she
attended River Oaks Christian School. Aunt Clara
will be remembered for her intense love & devotion
to her large extended family.
Survivors at the time of her death were; sister,
Rosa Adams Hatton of Ranger; and numerous nieces
and nephews.
