Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1938

Rita Gallagher Parker RITA LAURA GALLAGHER PARKER, 93, passed away on Sept. 7, 201, with burial in Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park in Colleyville, TX. She was born on Oct. 10, 1921, in Ranger, TX, to Clarence Daniel Gallagher & Alta Louise Newman Gallagher. Rita attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1938. In May of 1944, she married Richard James Parker and lived in Byron, MN until 1951. In 1951, she moved to Arlington, TX, and resided there until 1986 when she moved to Cisco, TX. In 1991, she moved to Katy, TX, where she became a member of the First Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Richard James Parker; her sisters, Betty Gallagher Bohan (RHS-1945), Marie Gallagher Daskevich (RHS-1942) and Bert Gallagher Allen (RHS-1952); & her grand- daughter, Shannon Renee Parker. She is survived by her children, Kenneth Parker and his wife Barbara of Leander, TX, Peggy Williams and her husband Jack of Montrose, CO, Paul Parker and his wife Brenda of Temple, TX, Virginia Ginger Lamb and her husband Richard of Etoile, TX, and Cathy Murphree and her husband Dennis of Brookshire, TX; grandchildren, Kelly Reynolds and her husband Stephen of Waco, TX, Heather Christie & her husband Mark of Pflugerville, TX, Keith Parker and his wife Resena of Lubbock, TX, Stephanie Holsinger and her husband Kenny of Montrose, CO, Laura Bannerman and her husband Chris of Katy, TX, Amy Swinney and her husband Scott of McAllister, OK, Heath Parker of Denison, TX, Faith Lamb of Etoile, TX, Rachel Graham and her husband Kevin of Etoile, Stephanie Morrison and her husband Joey of Katy, TX, Kevin Murphree and his wife Tiffany of Katy, and Hannah Nesevitch and her husband Noah of Guthrie, OK; great grandchildren, Parker, Peyton and Paige Christie, Sarah, Jackson and Carolyn Reynolds, and Kaleb and Addie Swinney, Alyssa Holsinger, Hope and Helen Bannerman, Oscar, Otto and Opal Parker, Eli, Faith, Thomas and Mariah Graham, Jenna and Jase Morrison, Kyle Murphree and Ariel Nesevitch; and her sister, Pat Gallagher (RHS-1957) of Arlington, TX.
