J.H. McKELVAIN, 71, passed away Dec. 21, 1993, with
burial in Moran Cemetery in Breckenridge, TX. He
was a member of the Ranger High School Class of 1940
at Ranger, TX.
J.H. was born on Jan. 3, 1922 in Moran, TX to Linnie
& Hardie McKelvain. He served in the U.S. Army during
World War II. His retirement was spent enjoying his
ranch in Moran.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister,
Avis McKelvain Preslar (RHS-1935). He is survived
by his children; Dr. Robert McKelvain (RHS-1967) of
Moran and Bettie Brown (RHS-1968) and husband Bill
of San Angelo, 2 grandchildren, and 4 great-grand-
children. He is also survived by his brother, John
L. McKelvain (RHS-1943) of Gulfport, MS.
