Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1940
PLEAS EARLY MOORE, JR., 20, was born on
Oct. 14, 1922 in Ranger, TX, to Pleas & Cleo 
(Sanders) Moore. He attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1940 & enlisted in the U.S. Air 
Corps in 1942. Sgt. Moore Jr. died Oct. 27, 1943
in an air crash in Newfoundland during World War
II.  He was later reburied at the Sam Houston 
National Cemetery in San Antonio, TX. His siblings
were Cleo Moore, William Moore, Betty Moore, and 
Patty Moore.
