GEORGE WILLIAM "DUB" TANKERSLEY, 80, was born
on Oct. 30, 1919, and died Sept. 9, 2000 while
living in Ranger, TX. He was in the Ranger High
School Class of 1941 & married Marie Williamson
(RHS-1941) in 1946.
SON: CLIFFORD DALE TANKERSLEY, 60, born Dec. 21,
1954 to G.W. and Marie Tankersley, passed away on
April 12, 2015 in Abilene, TX due to heart compli-
cations. Clifford retired from Chevron Oil Co. as
an instrument technician. He is survived by two
daughters, Susie Abeyta and husband Fonzy of Jal,
New Mexico and Joni Harrison and husband Scott of
Lubbock, TX. Four grandchildren, Danica & Nathan
Abeyta and Evan and Austin Harrison. Two brothers
Norman Tankersley and wife Donna of Mineral Wells,
TX and Phil Tankersley and wife Jane of Haslet, TX.
One sister-in-law, Kathy Tankersley of Ranger, TX
and several cousins, nieces and nephews. He was
preceded in death by his parents and one brother,
Terry Tankersley.
