Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1943 RJC

Merle Kribbs MERLE "BUSTER" WILSON KRIBBS, 89, a retired mail carrier, of Dublin, TX, died July 15, 2015, with burial at Pendergrass Cemetery in Comanche County, TX. Merle was born in Ranger, TX. on Sept. 7, 1925 to Franklin P. Kribbs & Sarah E. Cruse. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1943 at Ranger, TX. He married Wanda Sue McEntire (RHS-Faculty) in July of 1952, at Sidney, TX. She preceded him in death on August 5, 2014. Merle was a member of the Greens Creek Baptist Church in Dublin. He was also a member of The American Legion Post 240, DAV, AUSA (Association US Army), NRA, and The Chosin Few. He was a retired U.S. Army veteran of WWII, Korea, and Vietnam. He was awarded the Bronze Star for his service. He was on duty at the Nuremberg trials. Survivors at the time of his death include his sons; John Kribbs and wife, Carisa, Wichita Falls; Mike Kribbs and wife, Denise of Stephenville; Pat Kribbs and wife, Sheila Hattiesburg, MS; brother-in-laws; Joe John McEntire, Sidney, TX; Laramie (Larry) McEntire & wife, Jan, Canadian, TX; grandchildren; Landon Kribbs and wife, Jessica, Emily Pylant and husband, Miles, Melissa Herman and husband, Colten, Jessica Kribbs, and Enrique Kribbs; great-grand- children; Cash, Chaney and Cord Kribbs, Channing and Haze Herman; special care giver; Darla Ivy. His brother was Eugene Kribbs (RHS-1936).
