Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1944

Peggy Bundick Hodges PEGGY JEAN BUNDICK HODGES, 88, of Fort Worth, TX, died peacefully on July 8, 2017, with interment in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX. Peggy was born July 30, 1928, in Ranger, TX, to Richard Otto Bundick & Mary Florence Lewis Bundick. She graduated from Ranger High School in 1944. She went on to study nursing at the University of Texas in Arlington & earned a Master's degree. A resident of Fort Worth for the last 47 years, Peggy was a registered nurse & oncology specialist working at St Joseph Hospital for over 20 years. She was a member of Wedgwood Baptist Church. Peggy was well-known for serving oncology patients and their families as well as so many family and friends in their time of need. She also gave countless hours to organizations like the American Cancer Society and Beautiful Feet Ministries with her self- lessness and gift of mercy. She was preceded in death by her parents & brother, Robert Warren Bundick (RHS-1945). For a time she was married to Richard Hodges (RHS-1938). SURVIVORS: Daughter, Mary Ellen Pearcy and fiance, Daniel Lee Rinehart; grandchildren, Mallory Kate and Justin Ross Pearcy; niece, Betty Jean Bundick-Anderson & former spouse, Sam Anderson; nephew, Michael Penn Smith and wife, Linda Beth Smith; great-nephew, Robert Cody Anderson; the entire Pearcy family; and many dear friends.
