MILDRED FLOGENE "FLO" FREEMAN THRONE, 78, of
Stephenville, TX, passed away on Sept. 25, 2008,
with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger, TX.
Flo was born in Thurber, TX on Jan. 15, 1930 to Earl
F. & Julia Freeman. She attended Ranger High School
in the Class of 1948. Flo married Carl Junior Throne
at Eastland, TX in March of 1947; he preceded her in
death in 2000. She was a member of the Second Baptist
Church in Ranger. Flo worked for over 30 years as an
audit processor with Employers Casualty Ins. Co. in
Dallas, TX.
She was preceded in death by her husband; brothers,
Willard Freeman and Edward Freeman (RHS-1944); and
sisters, Odessa Roberson and Willie Freeman Joyner.
Flo is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Jack
and Lauren Throne of Iredell; sister, Betty Jean
Freeman Ryan (RHS-1950) of Weatherford; two grandsons,
Matthew and wife, Lauren Throne of Arlington and Andrew
and wife, Angela Throne of College Station; and a great-
grandson, Owen Throne.
