GEORGE NORRIS ROBINSON, 74, of Ranger, TX
passed away on Feb. 12, 2006, with burial at Mount
Zion Cemetery near Ranger, TX.
Mr. Robinson was born in Ranger on April 3, 1931 to
Charlie A. & Ola Mae Lassiter Robinson. He graduated
from Ranger High School in 1949. He was a U.S. Army
veteran and a member of the Eastland V.F.W. Post #4136
and the Fisher County Masonic Lodge. He worked for
Bell Helicopter as a truck driver, forklift driver,
and general maintenance person for 27 years. George
married Shirley Baker (RHS-1954) in August of 1951,
at Ranger. He was a member of the First Baptist Church.
He enjoyed riding around and visiting with friends.
His sister was Charlene Robinson Harris (RHS-1946).
Mr. Robinson is survived by his wife Shirley Robinson
of Ranger, a son Ricky Robinson and wife Michelle of
Azle, Texas, two daughters Rita Shell of Weatherford,
Texas, and Robin Del Bosque and husband Frank of
Waxahachie, TX; a brother Frank Robinson (RHS-1950)
and wife Minnie of Ranger and a sister Leona Robinson
Hyche of Crane, TX; seven grandchildren & two great-
grand-children; numerous nieces and nephews.
