Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1950 RJC

Frank Robinson FRANK ALFORD ROBINSON, 90 a life-long resident of Ranger, TX, went to his Heavenly home on Dec. 15, 2022, with burial in Evergreen Cemetery at Ranger. Frank was born Oct. 8, 1932, in Ranger to Charlie Alford & Ola Lasater Robinson, the 10th of 11 children. He graduated from Ranger High School in 1950 and attended Ranger Jr. College & served in the U.S. Army from 1952-1955. He married Minnie Myrtle Herron of Columbus, GA in 1952. They were married for 60 years and had three sons, David, Frank Jr. (Buster) & Quinn Robinson (RHS-1975). David preceded him in death in 1953. Minnie preceded him in death in 2012. Frank accepted Jesus into his heart at age 17 and served him until his last breath. He was a licensed minister for the Church of God of Prophecy for 60 years bringing many souls to the Lord, his true lifelong passion. He was blessed with success in many different business endeavors and was no stranger to hard work and long hours. He married Rita Zarate in July of 2013 at Ranger adding three children to the family; John Jr., Joe Paul, and what came to be known as Frank's ONLY daughter, Monica. Rita brought 6 grand- children into the family with her. Frank was widely accepted in Rita's family as directed by Granny Z. In addition to Minnie and David, Frank was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, great-grandson Darrius, and granddaughter Ramona Robinson Carroll (RHS-1994). Siblings include George Robinson (RHS-1949), Charlene Robinson Harris (RHS-1946), D.C. Robinson (RHS- 1938), & Pansy Robinson Varner (RHS-1951). Survivors include his wife, Rita Robinson, sons Buster and his wife Terry, and Quinn & his wife Malena, 6 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; and 8 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews and countless friends.
