DONALD LEWIS DRINKARD, 69, a retired
grinder for Ben Hogan Company, died on Feb. 5,
2004, in Fort Worth, TX, with burial in Dallas/
Fort Worth National Cemetery.
Mr. Drinkard was born on Feb. 8, 1934 in Eastland,
TX, the son of Ima Lois Bush & Calvin Marshall
Drinkard. He attended schools in Ranger, TX but
his family moved before high school graduation
and he graduated in Agua Dulce, TX. He served
in the U.S. Army during the Korean War and later
in the U.S.A.F. He had lived in Fort Worth since
1962 and was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
He retired from Ben Hogan Company in 1994 with
32 years of service.
Survivors: wife, Ann Wells Drinkard of White
Settlement; daughters, Donna Drinkard of Granbury
and Ann Jacobson and her husband, Dan, of Fort
Worth; son, Steven Drinkard and Karen Ainsworth
of Weatherford; sister, June Drinkard Davis (RHS-
1949) and her husband, Bill, of Ranger; brothers,
Fred Dreinhofer of Brownwood & Arthur Dreinhofer
of New Braunfels; six grandchildren; and a number
of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
