DEOLA ANITA CRAWFORD COVINGTON, 85,
of Odessa, TX passed from this life on Dec. 9,
2019.
She was born in Ranger, TX on Feb. 5, 1934 to the
late Jim and Willie Ora Lindsey Crawford. Deola
attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1951
and married Charles Junior Covington at Eastland,
TX in 1950. He preceded her in death in 2001. She
was a member of the Church of the Nazarene.
She was preceded in death by her daughter: Delores
Anita Alexander; four brothers: Lee Crawford (RHS-
1952), Weldon, Marvin Crawford (RHS-1956) and Pete;
four sisters: Marie, Leona, Connie and Cora Fay
Crawford Roberson (RHS-1954); & one grandson: Trace.
Those left to cherish her love and memory are her
sons: Charles Walter Covington and wife Julia, and
Doyle Wade Covington, all of Odessa; daughter: Belinda
Kay Covington of Kermit; six grandchildren: Vangie,
Randy, Bobby, Nathan, Triston, and Shalana; and eight
great-grandchildren: Keith, Karley, McKenzie, Allison,
Colton, Kelsea, Cameron, and Emilee.
