Ranger Exes Memorial - RHS Class of 1956

Marvin Crawford MARVIN WESLEY CRAWFORD, 79, of Carlsbad, TX passed away Dec. 20, 2016 with interment in the Pioneer Memorial Park. Marvin was born on Oct. 30, 1937 in Ranger, TX to James & Willie Crawford. He attended Ranger High School in the Class of 1956 & married the love of his life, Wana Smith in Aug. of 1974. He was a hard worker and was always busy. He worked for many years as a heavy equipment operator & spent many hours working to keep his yard looking beautiful. In his free time Marvin loved watching T.V. and even kept two going all the time. His favorites were Westerns and NCIS. He loved the Dallas Cowboys and always watched them on the big screen T.V. If the Cowboys started loosing then he would switch it to the small T.V. with no sound and go back to watching something else on the big T.V. He will be greatly missed by all those whose lives he touched. He was preceded in death by his parent. Marvin is survived by his wife, Wana Crawford of Carlsbad; son, Kenneth Crawford and wife June of Carlsbad; brother, Lee Crawford (RHS-1952); sisters, Deola Crawford Covington (RHS-1951), Marie Crawford Burton (RHS-1943) and Connie Crawford Widner. Another sister was Cora Crawford Roberson (RHS- 1954).
