BILLY LOU GOFORTH HARPER, 84, of Waco, TX passed
away on July 19, 2021.
Billy Lou was born May 28, 1937 to Homer and Rosa
Goforth. She married Tommy Joe Harper (RHS-1954)
on Oct. 17, 1953 in Ranger. Together, they owned
and operated the family business. In retirement,
they both enjoyed traveling. She was a beloved
mother and an awesome grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years,
Tommy Joe Harper; son, Danny Joe Harper; her parents;
and five brothers and a sister. Her brothers were
Roland Goforth (RHS-1953) & Bobby Goforth (RHS-1957).
Survivors include son, Tommy and wife, Carol; grand-
children, Katie and husband, Brett, Joshua, Sarah
and husband, Alan; great-grandchildren, Eliana,
William, and Adeline; and brother, David Goforth.
